John Sutton

John Sutton was the 3rd child of John David Sutton and the 3rd child born to Elizabeth Conger. John was born 19 Sep 1701 in Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ when Moses was 6 years old and Aaron was 2 years old. John married Mary (Mercer) Martin on 1729 at the age of ??? and they had 8 children and married Mary Cox on ABT 1760 at the age of ???. . John died 22 Jan 1761 at the age of 60.

The will of John Sutton of Somerset dated 8/25/1758, proved 1/22/1761, names wife Mary, daus Elizabeth, Anne, Lois, Mary; sons Jeremiah, Abner and Philip; brother David Sutton, wife and son Jeremiah executors. 1758, Aug. 25, Sutton, John, of Somerset Co; will of. Wife, Mary,
1/3 of the moveable estate and 1/3 of the land. Daughters,
Elizabeth, Anne, Lois and Mary, £70 each. To sons, Jeremiah, Abner
and Philip, my land. Executors--my brother, David Sutton, my wife
and son, Jeremiah. Witnesses--Joseph Pound, John Pound, Adoniiah
Pound. Proved Jan. 22, 1761.
  Jan. 15. Inventory, £252.1.0 pounds, made by William Worth and
