Tino was born in France and escaped to Mexico just prior to WWII. He was working at the hospital in Winfield which was then a tuberculosis hospital and met Ramona Ruth Goodbread there, and later married. Tino served in the Army and for a time they lived in Lawton, OK where their first child was born. In 1958 they purchased one of the first houses built in the new suburb of Carol Stream, IL and lived there until relocating to Glen Ellyn, IL. He worked as a serviceman for Young's Appliance Store in Glen Ellyn. Shortly after moving, his job was either downsized or threatened. He evenutally abanded Ramona and the children and eventually relocated in CA.
