The family lived at Knox Chapel in a frame house. They were members of the Cabot United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker all her life.

Anut Wilda loved life and she was fun to be near! She drove a car, but it was fortunate she only drove in the immediate vicinity where everyone knew her. For instance, as she drove from her home headed for Cabot, she never stopped at the light (or stop sign) to cross 356 ... she merely kept on going, everyone else stopped!

Wilda suffered from arthritis, as many of her sisters did.
