From Nancy Sutton's notes:

Walter and Maude were members of the Freeport Methodist Church. Maude was a farmer's wife, a real homemaker! I remember they always seemed to have a collie! She and Uncle Walter traveled back and forth to the Miami, Florida area where he had purchased some farm land. I don't know how long they had the property. She remained on the farm the rest of her life.

Maude died 30 years after Walter on 7 May 1976 at the age of 86 1/2 at the Alleghany Valley Hospital. Services were held in Washington, PA.
