Recently I was able to bring over 40+ Hi-8 tapes out of storage since I was able to find all the components of the camera that generated them. For the longest time I could not find the power supply for the camera, and batteries just don't keep in storage for over 20 years or more. But surprise, surprise, they DID charge up and seem to be working just fine! So now I've started the process of digitizing home videos with great memories. When I start producing the digital files, this site will have a listing of family videos that will be password protected for family members. However, there will also be videos added here from time to time to share publicly with anyone. So far we've put together one that showcases two of our beautiful D/FW parks and trails - there are a lot of them in this part of Texas. So check back every so often!
